Audubon field trip planned for Highland Springs Reservoir on Saturday, Oct. 19
Join friends and other birders on Saturday, Oct. 19 for a field trip to Highland Springs Reservoir. Meet at the main parking area near the lake. The reservoir is located at 3600 East Highland Springs Rd. Lakeport.
The Highland Springs Reservoir is managed by the County of Lake Water Resources Department and is a beautiful area to visit featuring oak forests, chaparral and of course, the reservoir. We should be seeing some migrating water fowl and hopefully some warblers as well.
Meet at 9 a.m. and enjoy a relaxed morning with friends.
