Saturdays, 9-2 Come out to the Lake County Land Trust Rodman Preserve on Saturdays from 9-2. Visit the nature center, observe birds at the feeding station or take a gentle hike around the preserve.
June 13, 9-3 join Redbud Audubon at Robinson Rancheria’s 3rd Annual Shigom Environmental Day. Our table will have activities for the whole family learning about migration, bird adaptations and more. You will learn about native and non-native species found in the county as well as go on nature walks and kayak tours.
August 15th-16th Clear Lake Integrated Science Symposium. The symposium is for researchers and managers but will be made accessible for the public through the symposium and digital binder proceedings. There will be a session on opening night of posters highlighting research and conservation restoration projects in the Clear Lake Watershed. May 15-June 15 Redbud is participating in Climate Watch. Feel free to reach out and tell us about your bird sightings. Of special concern are Western Bluebirds, and Red-breasted and White- breasted Nuthatches. Help build a better world for birds by joining Climate Watch to test and improve climate models.
