Last field trip of the season for Redbud Audubon
The last field trip of the Redbud Audubon Society season is coming up. May 18 members and friends are welcomed to meet at the Rodman Preserve at 9 a.m. for an enjoyable walk at the preserve to view passerines, raptors and most likely herons and osprey.
The preserve is located at 6350 Westlake Rd. Upper Lake, CA 95485. Arrive at 9 a.m. and bring a lunch if you like and enjoy viewing the nesting swallows from the back porch of the preserve.
Redbud Audubon will begin leading field trips in September when activities start again. Meanwhile, enjoy a summer of birding on your own at one of the many great areas available in Lake County.
